Tuesday. . . . . .
I have a feeling I am going to absolutely hate Tuesdays this semester. On Tuesdays, I'm on campus from 9:30 a.m - 9:05 p.m. I have a Pop Culture in history class from 9:30-10:45 then I have an Accounting class from 11:00 - 12:15. p.m. After that I have about a 6 hour break until my management class starts at 6:20 p.m. In the past, I have not been great with large breaks. In the past, I would go home, take a nap, watch a movie, and completely forget I had class. I don't think I will be doing that this semester. My classes are very high maintenance. . . . .
Anyways, back to Tuesday. I woke up fairly early. (For real this time). Once again, I miscalculated the traffic and arrived an hour early. I filled this time by checking my email and making my rounds through a few of my favorite websites. After that I went to class. . . .
First Impressions of Cultural Studies and Pop Arts: I think I am really going to enjoy this class. The class is basically a film studies class. We will watch movies, most of them independent, and discuss them in class. This is a huge plus for me because I love discussing film, ask anyone. The professor is kinda of pretentious but in a good way. There were hipster alerts flying all over the place. The book in the class seems very interesting as well. It should be a a pretty cake class.
After class, I killed about five minutes. before heading into accounting . . . Nothing special.
Second Impressions of Accounting : I say second impression because I already had a first impression last semester. I had to drop the course last semester. The professor is leaps and bounds better than my last professor. Her syllabus is straightforward and she is up front about what she expects. As in any accounting course, there was a ominous speech about how 60% of the class will fail. This didn't really scare me. I struggled last semester with this class but with enough effort I can do it. I will be looking forward to a lot of nights buried in a book.
After class I went to Quiznos. I enjoy Quiznos. It's not my favorite place but it gets the job. I ate a fairly affordable lunch and went back to school. . . .
I parked, headed to the library, and set-up shop in my favorite area. It was about 1:30p.m. I filled this time with a brief nap, a "This American Life" podcast, Giantbomb Quick Looks, hanging out with some buddies, and Facebook. At this point, even with the nap, I am extremely exhausted. I kill some more time and head to management.
First Impressions of Management: The class seems ok. . . I guess I just don't know how I am going to stay awake during it. The teacher is kinda funny. He took role for about 300 hundred students. Nothing special just a long ass class.
At 9:07 p.m, I started my trek back home. was so tired, I had no ambition to watch television. All I wanted to do was eat and fall asleep. For the first time since high school, I was in bed and sleeping before 11:30 p.m. . . .
