It's Complicated by Brandon Dues
The complexity of her thoughts will forever intrigue me
Everything said is ambiguous in nature
Every action has a double meaning
There is something about her that I just can’t put my finger on
Something about her that I can’t read
Like a book written backwards in an archaic language
Every time it’s the same feeling
A feeling so polarizing it can not be put into words
Sadness, Fear, Anger, Frustration
… and then…
a smile
Always a smile
The charade
The twisted game
The chase
Contradictory thoughts surface every meeting
I look into her eyes
She looks into mine
Right, Wrong, Right, Wrong, then Right again… .
Or is it Wrong, Right, Wrong, Right, then Wrong again???
Depends
It always depends
Does it feel right because it is so wrong?
or
Does it feel wrong because it is so right?
Every night she creeps into my dreams.
It’s a nice place
It’s a place where things make sense.
A place where nothing else matters
An alarm sounds
Back to reality
Back to the charade
Back to the twisted game
Back to the chase
Go through the motions, play the part, it will all work out in the end
Right?
Back and Forth, On and Off, Open and Closed, Together but Seperate , Love and Hate
All adequate descriptors
“Maybe, Possibly, Probably, Perhaps
Space, We’ll See, I don’t know”
“What are words I’ve grown accustomed to?”
“Correct”
The only thing clear about everything is that it is unclear
uncertain
undecided
unpredictable
unforeseeable
“So what is going with you two?”
“It’s complicated”
