"Clint Eastwood" by the Gorillaz is now pumping in my head. My mind wonders to the real Clint Eastwood and his age. I heard once that he was 100 years old. I quickly research his age and find out that he is 79. I laugh at the absurdity of my previous notion. I check the time. 11:29 a.m. My next class doesn't start for another hour, however, it would be in my best interest to leave in a half hour.
My iPod has made it's way to "Where it's At" by Beck. I slowly fear that I am becoming a hipster. I refresh my facebook page for the fifteenth time since sitting down. I am surprised by the amount of updates that pop up. It seems I'm not the only one "killing time". I make my way to my Twitter homepage. This site is the easiest way to get news. I find out that Hans Zimmer may compose the score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I google Hans Zimmer and find out he is legit. Too legit to quit at this point. I smirk at the obscure reference I have just made.
Seven minutes have passed and the random function on my iPod is betraying my mood. "Left Behind" by Aqualung satisfys my taste at this point. My stomach rumbles. This is peculiar because I had breakfast today. It was also a fairly satisfying meal. I decide to eat after my next class.
"Love Me" by Obie Trice. This is a refreshing change of pace. I do a quick inventory of my iTunes library.
. . . . . . . . . . . redacted. . . . . . . . . . . . .
11:43 a.m.
I venture to IGN to see their top stories. "Only You" by Portishead provides the soundtrack to this excursion. There is a Batman: Arkham Asylum guide available. I recall the time I spent with the demo, earlier this month. I check my cellphone for messages. . . . . . Nobody loves me.
I refresh my facebook and twitter homepages. No updates. "Pardon Me" by Incubus. I remember that this song was on the Little Nicky soundtrack. Horrible movie. The director of the movie Fanboys, Kyle Newman, proclaimed his distain for the film on a movie podcast I had heard last week. I research the director of Little Nicky and his filmography. His name is Steven Brill. Little Nicky, Without a Paddle, Mr. Deeds. These are some of the worst comedies ever made. His only saving grace is his involvement in the Mighty Ducks franchise.
"Rock Lobster" by the B-52's is currently playing. I involuntary nod my head to it's infectious bass line. I have gone on record stating that this is the coolest song ever made.
The time is 11:57 a.m. I gather my things and log out of the computer.
-End of Transmission
