It's funny how things can get you motivated

I was rumaging around in my closet and found a script I had wrote for a class in high school. I had adapted a story from a horrorcore style rap song I had heard. The script was only six pages long and was highly derivative of things I was really into at the time. The script did, however, have alot of good ideas in it. This motivated me to create something "better".

I have always had this dream to compose a work of literary greatness that will achieve a cult following and be praised for decades. I am, however, a realist and the likelihood of that actually happening is very slim to say the least. For now, this is something I just want to do to say that I did and if it becomes something later in life, then I will persue it.

So, my project for this summer is to write a short story. I have acquired a notebook for brainstorming ideas and once I am done getting all of them on paper, I will begin writing.

Wish me luck
